The Broncos come away dinged up after a victory against the Miami Dolphins

The Broncos did suffer a few minor injuries to a few players.

The Denver Broncos defeated the Miami Dolphins 39-36 in a hard fought game by both teams this afternoon. However the Broncos did suffer a few minor injuries to a few starters on the defensive side on the ball. Cornerback Aqib Talib, linebacker Brandon Marshall, and cornerback Kayvon Webster all suffered injuries during the game.

In the first half cornerback Aqib Talib was in and out of the game as he was dealing with a nagging hamstring injury. He was eventually pulled from the game.

It doesn't appear that his injury was serious, and there's reports that the Broncos are feeling optimistic about him possibly playing next week. It will definitely be something to keep an eye on though. Talib has had issues with nagging injuries throughout his career, and a hamstring can be a tricky injury.

Late in the game cornerback Kayvon Webster, who came in for the injured Talib popped his shoulder out of the place. Webster got it popped back in place but sat out the rest of the game. Cornerback Omar Bolden replaced him in the starting lineup. Webster was seen wearing a sling in the locker room after the game.

My guess would be that the Broncos will consider Webster "Day-to-Day", and he'll be a guy to watch throughout the week to see how he's doing. Right now I would say his status is up in the air for next week, but at the same time it's still very early to say either way.

Finally, Linebacker Brandon Marshall suffered a concussion at some point late in the game. He will now be placed in the leagues concussion protocol. Marshall will have to be cleared by the team doctor, as well as independent league doctor before he can play.

If Marshall does miss next weeks game it will leave the Broncos rather thin at linebacker. They're already missing two starters in Nate Irving and Danny Trevathan. I would assume that rookie Corey Nelson or Lamin Barrow would get the start in place of Marshall if he cannot go.
