Denver Broncos vs. Oakland Raiders: Montee Ball inactive for the Broncos

New, comments

Despite practicing all week, running back Montee Ball wll be inactive for the Broncos.

Chris Humphreys-USA TODAY Sports

Here are the inactives for the Denver Broncos and the Oakland Raiders for this afternoons game at Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum in Oakland California.

Denver Broncos:

Position Name
Running Back Montee Ball
Tight End Virgil Green
Tackle Michael Schofield
Cornerback Tony Carter
Linebacker Nate Irving
Tackle Paul Cornick
Running Back Kapri Bibbs

Thoughts: Despite practicing all week the Broncos are being cautious with Montee Ball and are keeping him inactive this weekend. Ronnie Hillman will get the start once again, and  look to bounce back after a rough game last weekend against the New England Patriots. Looks for Ball to be active next week when the Broncos travel to St. Louis to take on the Rams.

Starting right tackle Paul Cornick will also be inactive, and guard Ben Garland will be active for the first time this year. Also inactive is tight end Virgil Green who will miss his second straight game with a calf injury.

Oakland Raiders:

Position Name
Quarterback Matt McGloin
Cornerback Carlos Rogers
Cornerback Chimdi Chekwa,
Cornerback T.J Carrie
Guard Gabe Jackson
Guard Tony Bergstorm
Tight End David Ausberry
