The news on Brandon Marshall didn't look good initially. The doctors feared he suffered a serious foot injury, or at the very least he suffered the dreaded lisfranc injury. However it appears that Marshall dodged a serious injury, and in-fact he has already ditched his walking boot.

Now Marshall is still expected to miss the remaining regular season games but there's a chance that Marshall will be able to play in the playoffs for the Broncos.
"They thought it was going to be worse honestly," Marshall said. "The doctors said I was lucky because they thought it was going to be worse. I'm glad I can play."
Must Reads
As I said yesterday It appears that the Broncos will now turn to recently claimed rookie linebacker Todd Davis to replace Marshall in the starting lineup, and he's confident he will do just fine.
"I have a lot of faith," Marshall said "Todd (Davis) came in and within a couple weeks he knew the defense. That tells you he's a quick study. So, I definitely have faith in him. He's a big, strong physical guy.
Getting Marshall back in time for the playoffs will be important for the Broncos defense, especially now that they're without Danny Trevathan for the rest of the season. Marshall leads the team in tackles, and has been having a pro-bowl type year for the Broncos and he'll be needed. Thankfully it appears that the Broncos will have a first round bye which will give Marshall plenty of time to get his foot close to 100%.
"I don't think it will just come back 100 percent. But I think with the taping and the orthotic, it'll definitely help."
Go Broncos!
Remember this?:
How can you not remember this? Back when we all kinda liked Kyle Orton, and we were undefeated under Josh McDaniels.
Man I miss Gus Johnson.
