Updated 1:47 p.m. MST with news of Gase interviews.
Teams searching for head coaches are wasting no time trying to interview Denver Broncos offensive coordinator Adam Gase, as expected. Both the San Francisco 49ers and Atlanta Falcons have expressed interest in Denver's 36-year-old offensive gameplanner.

According to ESPN's Jeff Legwold, the 49ers have officially asked for an interview, and now so have the Falcons.
According to the Denver Post, Gase will interview with both teams this week in Denver.
The interest makes sense - Gase was a hot head coaching candidate a year ago, but decided not to respond to interviews in order to focus on the Broncos' playoff run. He and Peyton Manning made magic in 2013 together, breaking just about every record in the NFL, including the single-season passing touchdown record with Manning's 55 TDs thrown.
Gase can interview with teams Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday this week as the Broncos have a playoff bye. We'll see how he (and potentially Jack Del Rio) handle the NFL head coaching interest as the first week of the 2015 offseason for many teams rolls on.
