Read up on the latest updates about the Broncos free agents.

Kim Klement-USA TODAY Sports

Things are moving quickly now that the 2014 NFL free agency period is less than 24 hours away. We have news on Free Agent linebacker Wesley Woodyard, Jared Allen, T.J Ward, and more! on

The Broncos the favorite for Jared Allen:

Tonight Chris Tomasson who covers the Minnesota Vikings for the St. Paul Pioneer Press tweeted out tonight that sources close to the Jared Allen situation would "Shocked" if free agent defensive end Jared Allen did not end up with the Denver Broncos.

Currently the only starter the Broncos have along the defensive line is Derek Wolfe, and he has some major medical concerns surrounding him. Allen would provide the Broncos another solid pass rusher who would play opposite of Von Miller giving the Broncos a very solid pass rushing tandem.

Peyton is certainly a top 5 Quarterback.

Another source connecting Jared Allen to the Denver Broncos.

Alterraun Verner "definitely" interested in Broncos

The 25-year-old cornerback said the Broncos "would definitely be a good situation for me" during an appearance on Sirius XM NFL Radio Monday. Verner is the 4th-ranked free agent in our free agency database now that Michael Bennett has signed; that's five slots ahead of Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie.

Is DRC "Likely To Re-sign with the Broncos?:

This morning Peter King wrote his weekly Monday Morning Quarterback, and in there he had this to say about the Free Agent cornerback Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie.

That’s seven quality starters, some better, on the hook. Davis is close to re-signing with Indy, according to Jason LaCanfora, and Rodgers-Cromartie is likely to return to Denver.

This is the first news about DRC that I have seen in awhile. I have yet to see Cromartie connected to any of the other 31 NFL teams, so hopefully the Broncos can lock him up here soon.

Woodyard and Phillips playing elsewhere in 2014?:

Today reports surfaced that former Broncos starting Linebacker Wesley Woodyard was drawing interest from the Dallas Cowboys.

In Dallas Woodyard would be given the chance play at the weakside linebacker spot in a 4-3 defense where he is best suited to play. In 2012 Woodyard had his career best year when starting 15 games at the weakside linebacker spot. He totaled 117 tackles, 5.5 sacks and 3 interceptions. The Cowboys would be getting a very good player, and a even better leader.

Also DE/OLB Shaun Phillips has also been drawing some interest from other teams as well. It was reported today that the Tennessee Titans had interest in Phillips.

It's interesting that the Broncos are letting Phillips enter Free Agency when NFL Networks Ian Rapaport that the Broncos "fully expect" to re-sign Phillips, and a team source told Rapoport that Phillips is "perfect for us".

It appears that plans have changed.

Are the Broncos the favorites to land T.J Ward?:

Sign me up for that too!

There's already been a bit of buzz surrounding the Broncos and Ward.

News on Eric Decker:

Colts Owner Jim Irsay isn't shy about making big moves, and adding Eric Decker to that offense would be a big move that I can see him making. Adding Decker would give Andrew Luck another solid weapon to go along with T.Y Hilton and Reggie Wayne.

This isn't the first time that Decker has been connected to Indy, so don't be surprised if he ends up in a Colts uniform in the next 24 to 48 hours.

If this is the case, this does leave the door open for Decker returning to the Broncos. A very slim possibility however.

Other Free Agency updates:

Steve Smith could be a potential option for the Broncos if/when he is released.

Could the Broncos have interest in Babin again?

Verner could be a very real option for the Broncos if they miss out on on DRC.

Delmas has been connected to the Broncos, but it appears that they have decided to look elsewhere for help at the Safety position.

Peppers is due 20 million dollars this year, so no one will be trading for that contract. Look for Peppers to be released tomorrow.

Could that team be the Broncos?

Darrelle Revis rumors:

The Broncos have been connected to Darrelle Revis loosely this offseason. It will be interesting to see they have any interest in trading for Revis and his 16 million dollar cap number.

This certainly change things.

If Revis is indeed released, look for the Broncos to have interest.

We at Mile High Report will keep you covered on everything related to the Denver Broncos and Free Agency in the coming days.

Go Broncos!
