Your Denver Broncos free agency rumors and updates, Free Agency day edition

Your Denver Broncos free agency rumors and updates, Monday night edition. Could T.J Ward and Jared Allen be Broncos by the end of the day? Does John Elway has a few surprises in store for us? Also we will keep you updated on what the rest of the 31 teams are doing today.

Ron Chenoy-USA TODAY Sports

Free Agency is only a mere four hours away from officially kicking off, but some teams aren't wasting time to agreeing to deals with some of the top Free Agents on the market.

Denver Broncos news/rumors:

Other suitors for Jared Allen?:

Bill Huber from Packer Report reported this morning that the Green Bay Packers are among a list of suitors for Jared Allen's services. He also lists the Buccaneers, Patriots and Giants are among the other teams on Allen’s list. He does admit that the Broncos could potentially be Allen's fifth suitor

Perhaps Allen’s wish list — and Green Bay’s inclusion on it — is a way to drive up his price for a potential fifth suitor, such as the Broncos, who have been linked to Allen. The Packers are $28.9 million under the cap, with the Broncos $27.1 million, Buccaneers $23.7 million, the Giants $22.2 million and Patriots $14.8 million.

This is a far cry from yesterday's report that a source "close to the situation" would be shocked if Allen did not sign with the Broncos.

The Broncos a player for Revis?:

According to the Bleacher Reports Mike Freeman the two teams that he keeps hearing that are connected to Revis are the Denver Broncos and New England Patriots.

There's a ton of rumors out there about Revis, so add this one to your list.

This would make sense for both teams, especially the Denver Broncos who just released their long time shut down corner Champ Bailey. It would not surprise me to see John Elway at least target Revis either via trade or if he's released.

Looks like John Elway wants to book a trip to Revis Island.

Could the Broncos make a run at Daryl Smith?:

It appears that Smith will not be re-signing with the Baltimore Ravens anytime soon, and may be the top inside linebacker on the market. Now there hasn't been any official reports connecting Smith to the Broncos, but there has been a lot of speculation. The Broncos did have interest in former Cleveland Browns inside linebacker D'Qwell Jackson, so I wouldn't be shocked if the Broncos had at least some interest in Smith.

Woodyard to the Patriots?:

Zane Beadles to the Jaguars?:

As Caplan says in the tweet, Beadles would fit their scheme quite well and would help upgrade the offensive line. The Broncos plan to let Beadles test the market, and I would be surprised if he returned to the Broncos in 2014.

Caldwell re-signing with the Broncos?

Per Mike Klis, the Denver Broncos are working on re-signing Andre Caldwell. Caldwell very well could be the Broncos number two receiver next season.

Nothing imminent with DRC:

It will be interesting to see how this plays out. The Broncos have been loosely connected to all the top corners who are currently available on the Free Agent market.

ESPN's Josina Anderson spoke to DRC today, and here's what he had to say.

CB Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie to me on his future in Denver & Revis speculation: "I just sit back and wait. I'm just chilling." "I want to be in Denver. If they want to keep me we're going to make it happen--whatever we (have) to do."

Is money a hang-up for you?

"Bottom line, as long as you produce the money is going to come. I don't worry about the money."

Jared Allen, T.J Ward and DRC the names to watch today. Sproles too?:
