Across the board, Peyton has just played out of his mind the past couple of seasons. He owns nearly every single season passing record as a Bronco.
Perhaps most amazing is the fact that in two seasons (including playoffs) Manning has thrown for 100 TD's. 50 per season? No problem.
Next season Peyton can take aim at the all-time passing TD record currently held by Brett Favre. With 491, he is just 18 behind the 508 thrown by Favre. If last season's blistering pace is any indicator, he will have set the new mark by week the end of week 5.
Of course numbers aren't the goal. The goal is a championship. But two seasons, two #1 seeds, and one Super Bowl appearance should have Broncos fans optimistic. As long as #18 is on our side we will a chance to make a championship run.
Happy 38th Peyton, thank you for all your hard work--you're not done yet. GO BRONCOS!!!
