Champ Bailey has always been a man of few words. He didn't need many to capture the emotions of most of Broncos Country Wednesday night.

"It sucks," said Bailey.

The Denver Broncos will release Champ Bailey, according to multiple reports. Champ's quotes come via USA Today's Lindsay Jones.

"It sucks," Champ said, "but at the same time, I have to move on. I can't dwell on it. I know they're not dwelling on it."

"I'm good. It's bittersweet. Now I get to go see what is out there," Bailey said.  "I'm looking at the positive side of it."

"I just want to see what people will want me to do. My vision is to still play corner, but I'm a little more open-minded about the season I had last year." Bailey continued. "I'm a corner at heart. If a situation made sense to play safety, then I would consider it

The Broncos may not have even offered Bailey a paycut, according to one report, so while the Broncos don't have to make a decision until next Tuesday, it appears the writing is on the wall. Champ Bailey, with 34 Broncos interceptions and 10 years in the orange and blue, will soon be referred to as "former Denver Broncos cornerback."

It sucks, indeed.
