The Broncos host the Indianapolis Colts week one:

The NFL Schedule was released last night, and the Denver Broncos will be hosting Andrew Luck and the Indianapolis Colts in their season opener.

Who else is ready to see Von Miller and DeMarcus Ware sack Luck multiple time?

Danny Trevathan to take over the leadership role?:

The Broncos lost some veteran leaders on the defense this year. Champ Bailey was released and signed with the Saints, Wesley Woodyard signed with the Titans, and Mike Adams remains un-signed.

Third year linebacker Danny Trevathan says he's ready to step up and be a leader for the Broncos.

"My job last year was just to make plays," he said Wednesday. "To be a leader, you have to set an example. You have to make your name known. I don’t think I wanted to come here and be a leader, I had to earn that. Last year was a breaking-out season for me, and this year is going to be another breakout season for me. It’s my job to help lead as much as I can. Just bring my characteristics to this team, my attitude to this team as much as I can."

Trevathan says he's going to use the lessons he learned from former teammate Wesley Woodyard on how to be a good leader.

"It’s my job as a linebacker to be a leader," he said. "I take pride in being a leader and taking on the challenge of getting these guys ready. I kind of had to wait and sit back and wait my turn. It’s been an honor just to play alongside of guys who taught me how to be a leader. Now it’s time for me to showcase how great of a leader I can be."

I like seeing this type of maturity coming from our young playmakers.

More Draft news!:

Blue was apart of a rotation at LSU and only has 209 career carries under his belt. The 6'2 222lb running back figures to have a better NFL career then a college career. Blue figures to be a late round to UDFA type prospect.

The Broncos seem pretty interested in Ole Miss receiver Donte Moncrief. The Broncos have met with Donte Moncrief twice thus far (private workout, pre-draft visit).
