What's in a number? Changes and Acquisitions

New, comments

Now that things are a bit settled on the roster front, some old Broncos have switched numbers, and some new ones have acquired some of their own. Just exactly who will wear what in 2014?

Knowshon's old number goes to Duke Ihenacho while Lerentee McCray takes over for long departed DJ Williams.  In an effort to reduce his fumbles, Hillman increased his number from 21 to 23 (yes it makes sense, don't ask me how), and Terrance Knighton graciously gave up #94 to DeMarcus Ware for #98.

As far as some of the more notable numbers?

Emmanuel Sanders - #10

Aqib Talib - #21

TJ Ward - #43

Will Montgomery - #64

Yours truly was always partial to #90 but I'd love someone choose good ol' #00 in their quest for football supremacy.

Speaking of numbers, what are some of the numbers you folks have been saddled with during your athletic careers?
