Horse Tracks: Broncos OTAs begin Wednesday

New, comments

While many teams in the NFL begin Organized Team Activities on Tuesday, the Broncos have another day to wait.

The next phase in Denver's offseason workout program is nearly upon us, with only one more day to wait for rookies and veterans to see the practice field together for the first time. The Broncos have OTA practices from Wednesday May 28th through Friday May 30th. OTAs are voluntary workouts that allow 11-on-11 practice drills, while one-on-one contact drills are still prohibited.

With the news on T.J. Ward fresh on the mind, the Broncos are intent on keeping their rookies' noses collectively clean.  "Life distractions can't get you on the field, or you can't let them," Broncos cornerback Chris Harris Jr. said. "But the key is to limit those life distractions. I've always kind of kept my circle small."

"Omaha" will migrate to Michigan | ProFootballTalk
Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford may not yet play like Peyton Manning.  But Stafford will soon sound like him.
