Writes GM rclooman, "There are some concerns with a foot fracture and few other issues, but we just couldn't pass on a player like this. With the departure of Red Bryant and Chris Clemons, this pick is a no brainer. Disruptive, powerful, and versatile, Stephon has the natural tools to be a game changer.

"He mainly played defensive end in a 3-4 at Notre Dame, but we think he can be equally effective as a 4-3 defensive tackle. We emphasize on getting after the QB in Seattle, and Tuitt has shown he can do that against good competition. This guy has a ton of upside, and he can help us sustain a dominate defense.

"He'll challenge Greg Scruggs and Jesse Williams in camp, but we expect him to contribute right away. Our coaches can develop him into the special player we know he can be."
