SB Nation Mock
SB Nation Mock
Xavier Su'a-Filo
Guard, UCLA
Why he's a name to know: The most-mocked player to the Broncos, according to our latest Mock Draft Database, and it isn't close. Yes, even Mile High Report mocked Su'a-Filo to the Broncos, way before it was cool. Su'a-Filo has been ranked as high as the low teens in some boards, making him good value at 31 overall. The Broncos have a lot of options on their offensive line, but Su'a-Filo would make those options even better.

Jason Verrett
Cornerback, TCU
Why he's a name to know: The biggest names in Internet Mock Draftdom - ESPN's Mel Kiper and NFL.com's Mike Mayock - both sent this player to the Broncos in their latest mock drafts. So if the so-called experts are right, he'll be in orange and blue by the end of the day. Verrett is a player hard to pin down and could end up sliding back to the Broncos. He's a bit smaller, but he's a hard-hitter and good in man coverage, both excellent skills the Broncos covet.
Scouting Reports: Mile High Report, SB Nation, Frogs of War (TCU), ESPN (Insider)
Ra'Shede Hageman
Defensive Tackle, Minnesota
Why he's a name to know: John Fox "loves" this guy, according to SI's Peter King, and defensive tackle a position you know the Broncos are always open to adding depth. Sylvester Williams was the top pick last year, sure, but with a healthy DL rotation and a number of upcoming contract situations (Terrance Knighton and Kevin Vickerson are both free agents in 2015), you can't argue for thinking ahead and drafting a DT.
Scouting Reports: SB Nation, The Daily Gopher (Minnesota), ESPN (Insider)
C.J. Mosley
Inside Linebacker, Alabama
Why he's a name to know: It would be a dream come true if C.J. Mosley fell to the Broncos at 31. It's not out of the realm of possibility, and if it happens, you can believe the Broncos would waste no time submitting their ticket to the podium. It would be the fastest Broncos on-the-clock session ever. I could also see the Broncos trading up to snag Mosley if he starts sliding into the 20's.

Ryan Shazier
Outside Linebacker, Ohio State
Why he's a name to know: Throughout this elongated 2014 mock draft period, Ryan Shazier is a name that has been often connected with the Broncos. The Broncos held a private workout with the Ohio State product, a player we've broken down in depth.

Joel Bitonio
Tackle/Guard, Nevada
Why he's a name to know: "Why are you taking people we've never heard of?!" I cried to Bronco Mike on the podcast as he drafted this guy to the Broncos 31st overall. Turns out, I was just uninformed. Joel Bitonio is a guy commonly connected to the Broncos of late; he's shooting up the boards, and you know the Broncos like versatility in offensive linemen. He's the 2nd-most mocked-to player for the Broncos according to our Mock Draft Database.

Kyle Fuller
Cornerback, Virginia Tech
Why he's a name to know: Cornerback is one of the Broncos' greater needs, and it's a deep class in 2014. The Broncos can get true first-round talent with a cornerback at the 31st overall pick and feel good about it. This is also a player that Broncos fans want - in our weeks-long Community Mock Draft, Fuller was a player who fell to the Broncos (among others on this list), and he was the player Broncos Country wanted and ultimately drafted.
Scouting Reports: Mile High Report, Gobbler Report (Virginia Tech), ESPN (Insider)
Thank goodness it's Draft Day! Which of these prospects tickle your fancy? Is there anyone you consider more likely than the seven listed here?
