A couple of weeks ago, I took a few cracks at projecting a final 53-man depth chart based upon the current talent on the roster. I know in the past Mile High Report has chosen the best Broncos at a given position or the best Bronco to wear a specific number. What I would like to ask from the community today is to choose a 1st and 2nd All-Time Broncos team. Here are the positions that need to be filled:
Offense
QB, RB, WR 1, WR 2, TE, WR 3/FB, LT, LG, C, RG, RT
Defense
LDE, NT, RDE, OLB 1, OLB 2, ILB 1, ILB 2, CB 1, CB 2, SS, FS
Special Teams
Returner, K, P, Specialist
Up top I gave folks the opportunity to choose between a 3rd WR and FB. With the defense, I went 3-4 in honor of the Orange Crush. On special teams I want one returner for both kickoffs and punts and the specialist can be a player that has stood out over time as a special teams ace.
The rules are simple. If you have a nomination, in the subject line type
"Vote - John Elway - QB"
PLEASE ONLY USE THE SUBJECT LINE FOR VOTING
Please be specific when identifying positions. If you like a nomination rec it. We will determine each position according to the number of recs it receives. Ties will be broken by yours truly. In a future post, we will present our "All-Broncos 1st and 2nd team."
Remember folks we need at least two players for every position so GET TO WORK!!!
