Broncos tickets on sale Monday: How to get single-game Broncos tickets

Half price tickets go on sale at 1:00 p.m. MDT.

Denver Broncos single-game tickets go on sale at 11:00 a.m. MDT today, Monday June 30, 2014. We share some tips how to successfully nab a handful of tickets from Ticketmaster.com.

Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

It's that time of year, folks... where thousands of Broncos fans watch Internet loading screens in frustrated disappointment, while scalpers and ticket bots swipe away premium orange and blue seats.

Yes, folks, Broncos single game tickets go on sale today at 11 a.m. MDT (16,000 half-price tickets go on sale at 1 p.m.).

All of the nuts and bolts on tickets can be found below, courtesy of the Broncos, but I wanted to spend a minute sharing with you some success stories I've read about browsing Ticketmaster. These come from our previous post in January, lamenting how difficult it was for Broncos fans to get playoff tickets in Denver.

  • Be on time. The fun starts at 11:00 a.m., and you should too.
  • Don't be deterred by "Not available" messages. Often Ticketmaster will tell you no tickets are available. This does not necessarily mean they have sold out yet. Sometimes this simply means their current allotment is all on reserve, meaning people are viewing these tickets and have them temporarily reserved for two to five minutes. Keep trying until you see a firm "Sold out" message.
  • Use Lowest Price, Best Available options. If you're flexible about where to sit, let Ticketmaster find the tickets for you. Don't tie yourself to any one area and limit the number of tickets you could possibly find right off the bat.
  • Use multiple devices. Many fans have recommended this, especially for high-demand playoff tickets, but I'm sure the same benefits apply to regular season ticket-hunting. You greatly increase your chances if you use, say, your phone, tablet, and computer all at the same time. Coordinating this with multiple people helps too.
  • The higher the speed, the better. You may not have any luck if you're relying on your cell phone's data plan to browse the site at 11:03 a.m. Use a good WiFi signal, or better yet, direct connect to your high-speed modem with an Ethernet cord.

Happy hunting for Broncos tickets, Broncos fans! Let us know your additional tips and success stories in the comments.

The Broncos' press release with everything you need to know is below.

BRONCOS SINGLE-GAME TICKETS ON SALE TODAY BEGINNING AT 11 A.M. MDT
Half-price tickets available for purchase at 1 p.m. MDT today

DENVER - Tickets for individual games during the 2014 season at Sports Authority Field at Mile High will go on sale beginning today at 11 a.m. MDT. Ticket availability will vary, as the Broncos have sold out 341 consecutive regular-season games dating back to 1970, but a limited number of tickets (mostly single seats) will be available for all games beginning on Monday, June 30.

The Broncos offer a variety of price levels, which are detailed at the bottom of this release, as well as points of purchase for their fans. Included in the inventory available for the public are full-price tickets, half-price tickets, ADA tickets and club seat tickets.

Ticket purchasers may acquire seats via the Ticketmaster charge-by-phone system (800-745-3000), through the Internet at Ticketmaster.com, local Ticketmaster outlets (including select Walmart stores, Cherry Creek Shopping Center Guest Services Desk, The Official Visitors Center at 1600 California St. Ste. 6, Town Center @ Aurora Guest Services, Angelo's CD'S & More, and Twist & Shout). For best results, the Broncos recommend the online and charge-by-phone capabilities that Ticketmaster provides to help avoid long lines while gaining access to the same inventory.

Full-Price Tickets: A very limited amount of full-price tickets for select games will go on sale at 11 a.m. today. They may be purchased via the Ticketmaster charge-by-phone system (800-745-3000), at any local Ticketmaster outlet and through the Internet at Ticketmaster.com. Please note that there will be a limit of four tickets per household per game.

Half-Price Tickets: Half-price tickets will go on sale at 1 p.m. today. They may be purchased through the Ticketmaster charge-by-phone system (800-745-3000) or through the Internet at Ticketmaster.com only.

A total of 2,000 half-price tickets per game will be available for purchase in compliance with the legislation and operating agreement with the Metropolitan Football Stadium District upon the construction of Sports Authority Field at Mile High. The Broncos and the MFSD have implemented the following procedures for the purchase of half-price tickets:

* - There will be a limit of four tickets per household and no multiple-game purchases are allowed. This will be verified by Ticketmaster by name and credit card usage.  Orders exceeding the purchase limit will be cancelled.

* - All sales are final and there are no exchanges, cancellations or refunds.

* - All tickets must be claimed at gate entry on the day of the purchased game. Only buyers of the half-price tickets will be authorized to pick up their orders.

* - There will be no name changes on half-price tickets.

* - The buyer must present the credit card used to purchase the tickets to claim their tickets at the entry gate.

* - After claiming their half-price tickets, buyers must go directly into the stadium.

ADA Seating: A limited amount of ADA seating for ADA qualified patrons will go on sale concurrently today, via Ticketmaster.

For additional information, please refer to the ADA section of http://www.denverbroncos.com/ticketoffice.

Club Seating: There also will be a very limited amount of club seats designated for single-game sales. Club Seat locations will be available on the East and West United Club Levels for single-game purchase. This inventory will be available beginning today at 11 a.m. MDT via the Ticketmaster charge-by-phone system (800-745-3000), at any Ticketmaster outlet and through the Internet at Ticketmaster.com.
