The second day of Denver Broncos training camp kicks off today at 10:25 a.m. MDT!  Yours truly, as well as MHR/training camp alum Kaptain Kirk, will be there to cover today's events. Follow Kirk on Twitter at @Kaptain_Kirk62 and follow me at @MileHighReport. The latest updates from both of us are also embedded below.

Today's schedule

10:25 a.m. - 1:05 p.m.
Full schedule

Closed to fans

Due to construction, practice is closed to fans. The first public practice will be held at Sports Authority Field at Mile High this Sunday at 11:30 a.m. Parking and admission will be free.

Expected player attendance

With no injuries yesterday, the Broncos are expected to dress 86 players for camp today. They currently have 88 on their roster; cornerback Chris Harris Jr. is the only anticipated absence due to injury as he will remain on the PUP list until at least Monday. Demaryius Thomas is excused from camp.

Linebacker Von Miller and defensive tackle Kevin Vickerson are both expected to practice. Tight end Joel Dreessen was released this week after failing his physical. We will update this post with a full attendance report as soon possible.

Weather report

It will be in the mid-80's to start practice and hit 90 degrees by the time the last whistle blows. There's a chance of thunder showers this afternoon that may creep its way into the latter part of practice.

Yesterday at Broncos camp

The story of the day was Cody Latimer, who showed off his height and physicality with a number of impressive catches. Julius Thomas, Omar Bolden, and Kayvon Webster also left me impressed. Full practice reportPhoto gallery.

The return of the Horn

A message from Kaptain Kirk, who is sitting right next to me!

Welcome to Day 2 of the 2014 Denver Broncos Training Camp. It feels so good to say that. Better yet, I am totally stoked to be on the "other side" of the veil so to speak, as a credentialed member of the media. Never in all my life have I ever imagined attaining such a position, so I am feeling especially blessed. Needless to say, I'm here wayy early, all juiced up and raring to go. So to officially kick off the Kaptain's Log, I will merely say, HORN!

It is supposed to be up into the 90's for today's practice. Noticing the new developing changes around the complex I can verify that next year's Camp will be an awesome experience. I am going to say right now that all of Broncos Country owes a deep gratitude and respect to the vision, philanthropy and generosity of Mr. Bowlen. Yes I said Mr. He deserves that entitlement of respect, from me anyway.

Anyway, my full report will be forthcoming. So stay tuned and...

Go Broncos!
