Kyle Montgomery, Mile High Report

The third day of Broncos training camp kicks off today, and Broncos players are expected to wear their full football garb - i.e. pads - for the first time since the Super Bowl.

Today's schedule

8:50-11:30 a.m.
5:30-6:30 p.m. (walkthrough)
Full schedule

Closed to fans

Due to construction, practice is closed to fans. The first public practice will be held at Sports Authority Field at Mile High this Sunday at 11:30 a.m. Parking and admission will be free.

Expected player attendance

With no injuries so far (as always, knock on wood), the Broncos are expected to dress 86 players for camp today. They currently have 88 on their roster; cornerback Chris Harris Jr. is the only anticipated absence due to injury as he will remain on the PUP list until at least Monday. Demaryius Thomas is excused from camp. Linebacker Von Miller and defensive tackle Kevin Vickerson are both expected to practice and have been limited in camp participation so far.

Weather report

Sunny and in the 70s for Broncos practice. It should boast perfect conditions.

Yesterday at Broncos camp

Sylvester Williams stole the show with a huge interception off Peyton Manning, and... what's that I hear? Could it be? Is that a HORN!

The Broncos Beat

Kirk and Casey are on the case today, with Kirk providing his Kaptain's Log and Casey shooting photos. I'm taking a break to do a little hiking of a Colorado 14er before tomorrow, my last day in Denver.
