Broncos' DeMarcus Ware and Von Miller named one of the top "defensive duos" by EA Sports

They are pretty good in the video game, too.

Look out, NFL QBs. DeMarcus Ware and Von Miller are coming for you this fall.

EA Sports recently named the two Broncos defenders—Ware and Miller—their second-best defensive duo in the NFL. The pass-rushing duo was second only to the Houston Texans'  J.J. Watt and Jadeveon Clowney.

"For all of the Denver Broncos’ record-breaking performances in 2013, they finished just 27th in the league in passing defense (257.4). The acquisition of Ware should help boost the Broncos pass rush and take pressure off Miller. While Ware’s best days may be behind him, he still comes to Denver with 117 career sacks. Learn more about how best to utilize Miller’s quick first step in Madden NFL 15," EA Sports said.

Miller and Ware had overall ratings of 97 and 94, respectively, in Madden NFL 25 (last year's version of the game). This year, EA says they will be one of the best defensive duos in football, both in reality and in Madden NFL 15.

Ware seems to agree.

In June, Ware told the press that he and Miller want to record as many combined sacks as any one team. That's a tall order—each NFL team recorded at least 30 sacks in 2013. Such a feat is feasible, though.

Both Ware and Miller would have to average 15 sacks in 2014 to combine for 30. Before missing seven games last year, Miller and former Broncos defensive end Elvis Dumervil combined to record 29.5 sacks two seasons ago. Ware has averaged 13 sacks per season during his nine years in the NFL.

In May, Denver picked up Miller's fifth-year option on his rookie contract, keeping him in Denver through the 2015 season. Two months earlier, the Broncos signed Ware to a three-year, $30 million deal that runs through the 2016 season.

If both players can stay healthy, they are poised to harass quarterbacks together for at least the next two years.
