What to expect:
The Denver Broncos number one offense will face off against the number two defense, while the Broncos number one defense will face off against the Broncos number two offense. The Third team offense and defense will go against each other.
Denver Broncos Head Coach John Fox says to expect some live action(tackling to the ground).
"We are really just doing more of the same things like the scrimmage phases we’ve had so far—short-yardage and goal line yesterday. To graduate it up a little bit, they will get 12 plays of live work such as ones against twos, twos against ones and threes on threes with 12 plays in each segment. We are getting them ready for live football so we can be prepared for our opening preseason game."
This will give the team their first real feel of game action, and will prepare them for Thursday's first preseason game against the defending Super Champion Seattle Seahawks.
The scrimmage also helps prepare the coaches for their game day duties as well as they will be wearing their head seats along with everything else.
"Yes, we will use everything just like the game. We will use the new still shot technology that the NFL has presented for us both in the press box and on the field. We will have our own standard still shots that we do. We are just getting ready for the first real action with all the equipment we use in a game."
Most importantly it's supposed to be a fun time for everyone in attendance. The Broncos players have expressed how they miss the fans being at the practices, and also how they're appreciative about them attending and cheering them on in the Stadium practices.
Rahim Moore, on tomorrow's summer scrimmage: "We need to go out there and play that Broncos football... that Orange Crush-type defense."
