Doug Pensinger

Positive Offense

Demaryius Thomas - Received 6 targets and caught 5 balls for 52 yards.  His long was 15 yards.  Demaryius worked the short and intermediate zones between the numbers and to the left (right side of the defense).  He was most effective from the10-19 yard zone in the middle of the field.

Jordan Norwood - Was targeted only three times but managed to haul in every target for a total of 51 yards.  His highlight was the game winning touchdown catch deep down the right seam of the Seahawk defense.

Negative Offense

Chris Clark - Allowed both a hit and hurry on Peyton Manning.  He was the only starting OL to give up multiple pressures.

Backup OL - Justice, Garland, Painter and Cornick all graded out negatively with the left side of the line (Justice/Garland) faring slightly better than the right side (Painter/Cornick).  Combined they allowed 7 hurries on Brock Osweiler and 1 sack.

Positive Defense

Malik Jackson - received the highest grade for his hit and hurry on Russell Wilson.

Quanterus Smith - was the 2nd highest rated pass rusher.  He managed to get 4 hurries in backup-action.

Terrance Knighton - one of the few Broncos to register positive grades against both the run and the pass.

Negative Defense

Duke Ihenacho - was credited with only 1 target and reception against, but that play went for 20 yards.  I remember seeing more mistakes in coverage than this.

Jerome Murphy - Had impressed early in camp but was targeted 4 times for 3 receptions (51 yards).

Be sure to check out Pro Football Focus' series "re-focused." Lots of good information about your Broncos!
