Denver Broncos News: Horse Tracks - Bad commentary creates misinformation

Good Morning Broncos Country!

Kirby Lee-US PRESSWIRE

How many times have you been watching a game and the commentator will pick a point or two of emphasis that ends up recurring over the course of a game?  I've noticed it several times now the latest being this past Thursday with guest and former Bronco John Lynch.  It is theIR job to recognize things quickly in real time and report on them, but all too often one or two isolated instances balloons into an over-arching theme that doesn't exist.

Two things that Lynch said on Thursday have started to make its way into the debate and commentary by Broncos fans.  One is that Brock Osweiler needs to keep his eyes downfield when scrambling, the other is that Brock Osweiler holds onto the ball too long.

In a film study post later on today, I'm going to examine these thoughts in a larger evaluation of Brock's play from Thursday night.  Let's just say that bad commentary creates misinformation.
