A little fighting is good. Those chippy exchanges between competitors shows that these men are into it and fighting for their respective positions on the squad.
Every once in awhile, those skrimishes get a little bit more serious, but players are mostly able to shake it off and get back to work.
Today was something a bit more intense. I've been to five Broncos training camps; I've never seen or read about a scrum like what reporters described today. Players were "arm bar choking" each other and taking "huge cheap shots"; ultimately John Fox had to call everyone together for a team huddle.
Two fights in the last five minutes. One on the sideline. Temperatures rising.

Ihenacho and Clay go at it. Ihenacho attempts to arm bar choke him. Spills into the sideline before separated.

John Fox just called the team in for talk.

Fox called everyone in for a huddle. The Broncos ended with a hands-in, "1-2-3 Broncos!", then returned to team drills.
One of the reasons for the elevated intensity: the Broncos are pumping loud music intentionally during practice today. The music was back on after the huddle.
All's well that ends well, though.
Oline and dline talking and hugging it out between periods after last scuffle.

I'm sure Broncos players will get asked a lot of questions about the skirmishes today. We'll look forward to hearing from them and Coach Fox. In the meantime, feel free to continue to follow the live blog.
