The Denver Broncos endured their first apparently serious injury at training camp on Tuesday when weakside linebacker Danny Trevathan was carted off the field with a knee injury.
Update: Trevathan has fractured shin, will miss four to eight weeks
While the cart at Dove Valley usually means the worst, early test results are encouraging, Mike Klis of the Denver Post reports.
Preliminary tests encouraging regarding Danny Trevathans knee more tests to be done

We're not out of the woods yet though, Broncos fans - I remember hearing the same "encouraging" test results regarding Von Miller's injury last year. It was reported the Broncos believed he had a knee sprain; he ended up having a torn ACL.
But this report gives us a shred of cautious optimism as Trevathan gets more tests done.
Our fingers are still crossed.
