MHR Review: Kaptain's Log • Kayvon Stays Home • Von Almost 100% • What to Watch For |
Last season, I expected the Seattle Seahawks to begin to falter and the San Francisco 49ers to take control of that NFC West division. Instead, the Seahawks squeaked by the 49ers on their way to a Super Bowl championship. I would make that prediction again this year, but I honestly think both teams will take a step back in dominance this season, so who knows which will take the division.
One thing I am certainly tired of hearing is all this talk about how the 49ers deserve to be considered the second best team in the NFL last year. I'm sorry, but the Denver Broncos scored over 600 points and dominated nearly every game they played in. They picked Super Bowl week to have the worst game of their season. It's called a bad game, not a bad season, so let the homeristic kneejerking about which team was second best in 2013 die already.
As for this game, who is going to win? The answer is simple. Who cares. My biggest concern is how the Broncos carry themselves on both sides of the ball. They were masters at beating themselves, so the less I see of that from the first teamers the better.
My family is filled with mostly San Diego Chargers, Oakland Raiders and San Francisco 49ers fans. So with that thought, I do care who wins. The Broncos need to come out and punch these fools in the mouth!
