UPDATE: Norwood suffered a torn ACL and will miss the 2014 season.
According to reports from Denver Broncos practice wide receiver/kick returner Jordan Norwood suffered an apparent leg injury during practice and had to be carted off the field. Norwood suffered the injury when a Houston Texan defensive back hit Norwood while he was making a catch along the sideline.
Broncos WR Jordan Norwood carted to locker room. Was able to put some weight on leg as he made short walk to door. Den thin at WR today.

It's good news that he was able to put at least some weight on his knee after the injury, but we won't know more until the Broncos do tests on him.
It's a tough break for Norwood who looked like he was on the verge of locking up a roster spot as the Broncos primary kick and punt returner, and as a backup wide receiver. I would assume rookie wide receiver Isaiah Burse would take over kick and punt return duties if Norwood is out for an extended period of time
We will update this post when more news on Norwood's injury becomes available.
Go Broncos!
