MHR Review: Lightning Warning • Team Fights • Cross Blog Chat • Offense Stinks |
One of the worst teams(ok,the worst) in the league in 2013, the Houston Texans, visit the Denver Broncos in what is usually the most important preseason game of the year.
My usual "does it matter" sentiment about preseason games was washed away last weekend as we all watched Brock Osweiler put on a clinic against one of the leagues more respected defensive units, so maybe this preseason thing isn't so bad after all. My only real desire is for the Broncos star players to remain injury free, but you could transfer that over to all Broncos players.
It's disappointing that Jadeveon Clowney will be sitting out as it would have been nice to see him lining up today with J.J. Watt. If he is as good as advertised then I may not be able to argue that Von Miller and DeMarcus Ware are the best pass rushing tandem in the NFL, because Watt is certainly a dominant player all by himself.
Either way, tonight represents the final night before we are exactly fourteen days away from opening day for the Broncos. FOURTEEN DAYS! Can I get a "GO BRONCOS" for that?
