Does the result of a Super Bowl rematch matter when it's a preseason game?
Not a whole lot, according to most Broncos, including head coach John Fox. "I will be truthful with you: it is just the preseason, and nobody really remembers the preseason," Fox said.
Still, this game marks the first opportunity for many Broncos players to transform, to transcend, to earn their roster spot. So while we won't be looking for redemption in Denver's first preseason game, we will be looking for reinvention. We're looking for the next Terrell Davis.
And if the Seahawks happen to fall to the Broncos in the process, all the better.
