The Denver Broncos have finished up their second day of practice preparing to take on their division rival Kansas City Chiefs. The Broncos roster still stands at 52 players after waiving wide receiver Nathan Palmer on Tuesday. It's obvious that the Broncos are saving that roster spot for Wes Welker. The NFL and NFLPA are reportedly close to a new Drug Policy agreement, and there's a chance that Welker could be reinstated tonight.

The Broncos have assigned Palmer back to their Practice Squad after being waived on Tuesday.
The big news today was the return of special teams ace/safety David Bruton. Head Coach Fox listed Bruton as limited so he's not completely back, but it's encouraging seeing him back on the practice field. Bruton missed yesterdays practice because of a dislocated shoulder that he suffered during Sunday nights game against the Colts.
Guard Ben Garland was still being held of practice, but was seen doing some light work on the side. Garland is dealing with an ankle injury.
