Broncos at Seahawks Injury Report: Welker's not listed, Bruton probable, Trevathan questionable, McCray Out

The Broncos are heading to Seattle in good shape health wise. McCray is OUT, Bruton and Welker are PROBABLE. Trevathan is QUESTIONABLE and will travel to Seattle with the Broncos.

Jeff Gross

After Friday's practice the Broncos are looking quite healthy as the only player listed as OUT for Sunday's game is Lerentee McCray.

Broncos Off the Injury Report this Week:

Nate Irving (LB), Manny Ramirez (C), DeMarcus Ware (DE), and Kayvon Webster (CB) all did not appear on the Broncos injury report this week after appearances last week. It's nice to see that Ramirez's back issue has cleared up - we'll need excellent play from the offensive line this week. The only offensive line player expected to play on the injury report is Ryan Clady with what appears to be a nagging foot issue. It's also great to see Webster off the injury report for the first time in a few weeks.

Broncos New to the Injury Report This Week:

Lerentee McCray (LB) - Knee, Quinton Carter (S) - Knee, Brandon McManus (K) - Groin, Von Miller (LB) Groin, and Marvin Austin (DT) - non injury related, all were new to the Broncos injury report this week. Austin, Miller, and Carter's injuries have not kept them from participating fully in practices this week (Austin did not attend practice on Wednesday but fully participated on Thursday). McManus was limited in Wednesday's practice but since then has participated fully. McCray's injury was the most serious out of the Chiefs game. His sprained knee is expected to keep him off the field for two weeks.

I have some concerns McManus won't be able to kick it far enough to keep Percy Harvin away from the ball because of his groin injury, but this tweet made me feel a bit better.

Wes Welker is listed as Probable for Sunday's game having cleared the NFL concussion protocols. John Fox said that Welker had a "great week". Don't go into too many details there Foxy! Let's keep the Seahawks guessing.

Repeat Broncos on the Injury Report:

Danny Trevathan (LB) - Knee, David Bruton (S) - Shoulder, Ben Garland (G) - Ankle, Ryan Clady (T) - Foot, Chris Harris Jr. (CB) - Knee all remained on the Injury Report this week. The big news here is that Trevathan started to practice with the Broncos on Thursday. He seems set to return shortly after the bye which should be a great boost for the Broncos defense.

Trevathan's response when he was asked if he could play on Sunday:

"Oh yeah. I give myself a definite option. If I need to play I will. I'm questionable and I'm just going to take it one day at a time."

Bruton's shoulder injury also seems to be heading in the right direction. I'm sad to see Clady's foot injury on the injury report for another week but it makes sense considering his lisfranc injury last year. Some injuries linger.

Even if you're not injured it's important to take care of yourself after practice.

Seahawks Kam Chancellor (S) and Marshawn Lynch (RB) did not practice on Wednesday but are expected to play on Sunday.
