Denver Broncos wide receiver Wes Welker was suspended for the first four games of the 2014 season for testing positive for amphetamines. He reportedly took Molly at the Kentucky Derby this May, although he and the Broncos rigidly deny this.
Welker was reinstated before Week 3, ending his suspension, thanks to a revised NFL Performance Enhancing Durg policy that was approved in September effective for the entire 2014 league year.
