Broncos Colts 2014: Game time, TV schedule, online streaming and more

Game time! The Denver Broncos will face the Indianapolis Colts to open the 2014 season on Sunday Night Football on NBC. Kickoff is set for Sunday, September 7, 2014 at 6:30 p.m. Mile High time at Sports Authority Field at Mile High in Denver, Colo.

Ron Chenoy-USA TODAY Sports

Are you ready for some football?

Peyton Manning is.

"I am tired of talking," the five-time and reigning NFL MVP said this week. "I am ready to play some real football."

Real football is what Peyton and all real-football-lovers will get this Sunday as Manning and the Broncos host Andrew Luck and the Colts. For the Broncos, it's the start of their 2014 redemption tour - call it a revenge tour, if you like - where they set out to make a mockery of all those teams who mocked them for their 35-point Super Bowl loss. For the Colts, it's the beginning of Andrew Luck's third season - can the 2012 first overall pick elevate him and the Colts into the level of the elite?

Last year, the Colts defeated the Broncos 39-33, ruining Peyton Manning's homecoming. This year, the Colts come to Denver, their owner and main pass-rusher are suspended, and the Broncos are healthy. Many Broncos fans are expecting a Mile High blowout.

But that's on-paper football. It's time to see how these teams play when the football is real. We're tired of talking, too; let's play!
