Are you ready for some football?
Peyton Manning is.
"I am tired of talking," the five-time and reigning NFL MVP said this week. "I am ready to play some real football."
Real football is what Peyton and all real-football-lovers will get this Sunday as Manning and the Broncos host Andrew Luck and the Colts. For the Broncos, it's the start of their 2014 redemption tour - call it a revenge tour, if you like - where they set out to make a mockery of all those teams who mocked them for their 35-point Super Bowl loss. For the Colts, it's the beginning of Andrew Luck's third season - can the 2012 first overall pick elevate him and the Colts into the level of the elite?
Last year, the Colts defeated the Broncos 39-33, ruining Peyton Manning's homecoming. This year, the Colts come to Denver, their owner and main pass-rusher are suspended, and the Broncos are healthy. Many Broncos fans are expecting a Mile High blowout.
But that's on-paper football. It's time to see how these teams play when the football is real. We're tired of talking, too; let's play!
Kickoff is set for 6:30 p.m. MDT on Sunday, September 7, 2014.
The game will air nationally on NBC Sunday Night Football. Everyone gets the Broncos this week!
SNF on NBC will stream the game live through Live Extra for free. At a premium, you can stream the game after the final whistle blows from NFL.com using Game Rewind. You can also listen live using streaming audio from NFL.com.

The Denver Broncos have lost six straight games to the Indianapolis Colts. Most of them were against Peyton Manning.
For the Broncos, Danny Trevathan is out (knee), along with backup OL Ben Garland (ankle). Cornerback Chris Harris Jr. is probable and is expected to make his 2014 debut after missing the entire preseason while recovering from an ACL injury he suffered in the 2013-14 postseason.
For the Colts, wide receiver Reggie Wayne is probable while C Khaled Holmes is questionable.
