MHR Review: Preview • Under Radar • X-Factors • Red Zone • Pressuring Manning • Broncos D • Fan Guide |
The Denver Broncos either return to form today or they are staying home until September. I believe they return to form against the Indianapolis Colts, with Peyton Manning making sure he lets Andrew Luck and Jim Irsay know that he is still The Sheriff. The curb stomping shall commence!
In this game, I believe the Broncos will open up the passing game early, rather than go with the running game just to test the Colts defensive game plan. The offense will catch some fire and run up to a huge first half lead. Sound similar? It should, it happened in Week 1 as well.
in the second half, Andrew Luck will be in desperation mode that will produce some scores. However, that desperation will also lead to some game clinching turnovers from Christ Harris Jr. and his No Fly Zone.
At the end of today, it should be as it should be with Tom Brady and Peyton Manning battling it out for an opportunity to play in the Super Bowl. If not, then Monday morning is going to suck in the worst kind of way. I love playoff football!
Prediction: Broncos 38, Colts 24.
