Second Half Open Thread: Indianapolis Colts at Denver Broncos

Mark J. Rebilas-USA TODAY Sports

What a frustrating first half of football for Denver Broncos fans. It certainly feels like Peyton Manning left 100+ yards of offense out there via errant throws, mixed in with a couple of terrible drops by Demaryius Thomas. This team needs to get its act together or it will be a long offseason.

Meanwhile, the Indianapolis Colts have done exactly what they needed to do to start this football game. Andrew Luck is throwing the ball on every down and abusing Aqib Talib as often as possible. Apparently, Luck is playing chess and Talib checkers today.

All those frustrations aside, the Broncos are only down 14-10 thanks to a fortuitous drive at the end of the half to get the Broncos some much needed points. However, the only way this even matters is if Peyton Manning and the Broncos come out in the second half and take the first possession down the field for a touchdown.

If the Broncos can do that, then we finally have ourselves a football game again. This second half thread is officially a rally thread at this point. Bring it, Broncos fans!
