John Elway wants Peyton Manning back. Listening to his press conference Tuesday, it sounded like Manning will be back, saying that his quarterback will have input in the head coach selection process.

Now, one of his teammates has told Lindsay Jones of USA TODAY that he expects Manning to be back.

"Me and Peyton will always talk back and forth about things. Now he's just looking forward to the next season and how we can get better," Ware said. "I think he'll be back. I feel like he still has a couple years in him."

Ware continued, "He just needs time to get healthy, rest. Calm the brain down. Turn it off a little bit and then hit the restart button once it's time."

Ware also discussed the Broncos' head coaching search, which will particularly impact him now that the Broncos will certainly be looking for a new defensive coordinator.

If both he and Manning return in 2015, hopefully it's with more fire in the postseason.
