Colts vs. Broncos injury report: Broncos used bye week to get really friggin' healthy

It's a new year, according to the calendar. Judging by the Denver Broncos injury report, it looks like a new year too.

The Broncos had only one player limited in practice Wednesday in their preparations for the Indianapolis Colts, and no player (not on Injured Reserve) missed the practice session, indicating they're the healthiest they've been in months.

Three months, in fact.

Linebacker Brandon Marshall (who received a vote in the AP All Pro list and was an honorable mention in PFF's All Pro team) was the one Bronco to be limited, and he has recently said he plans to play against the Colts. It was less certain safety David Bruton would play, given his neck injury and concussion that required a precautionary trip to the Emergency Room (that almost sounds like an oxymoron), but even Bruton was a full participant Wednesday.

We'll be watching Marshall's status closely, but otherwise, this Broncos team looks like the healthiest we've seen in months. As one Twitter follower put it, if the Broncos win the Super Bowl, the bye week should be the real MVP.
