Week 4 NFL Picks: Thursday Night Football Ravens at Steelers

Well, my undefeated streak had to end at some point. Last Thursday, it ended when the Giants beat the Redskins. It's about time I get back to winning, so here's to a more accurate prediction for Week 4.

Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

In all honesty, I'm not sure how to handicap this game. If Roethlisberger isn't hurt, I'm giving it to the Steelers as I think they are simply a better team than the Ravens are this year. But he got hurt and now Michael Vick is going to be leading the way. But what Michael Vick will we see? Will we see an efficient Vick? A spry Vick? An erratic Vick? I honestly have no clue.

The Ravens aren't exactly entering the game with less question marks themselves. They still have defensive issues and offensive issues. They are banged up on defense, and ineffective for the most part on offense. So honestly, which of these two teams will pull it together long enough to come out with a victory? That is the question at hand.

Can Vick take advantage of a surprisingly ineffective Raven's defense? Can the Raven's defense take advantage of a once bright star who's play and health are clearly in the rear view mirror? Can the Raven's offense get out of neutral against a decent Steeler's defense?

How about the chemistry when it comes to the Vick and Antonio Brown connection? Is there anything there? Will Vick just heave it up and cross his fingers? Will those balls land in Brown's hands or the Raven's hands? Decisions decisions. If someone has a crystal ball, now is the time to use it.

Last Week: 0-1
Overall: 2-1

Prediction: I have to go with the team with less question marks. And surprisingly, that team is the Baltimore Ravens. Sure, they lost to the Raiders, but the Steelers just lost their franchise quarterback. Yes, they are replacing him with a former franchise quarterback, but make no mistake, Michael Vick is no longer the QB to lead any team to any sort of promised land. Because of that, I have the Ravens in an upset, 26-13.
