Kapri Bibbs' promotion from the Denver Broncos' practice squad to its active roster seemed inevitable when running back Juwan Thompson didn't practice for the third straight day Friday. Thompson is listed as questionable with a hamstring injury for the Broncos' Week 6 match against the Cleveland Browns, but given the news that Bibbs has been called up, it looks like Thompson will take the week off.
Broncos promote RB Kapri Bibbs from practice squad and waive TE Richard Gordon to make room.

Bibbs (5-11, 203 pounds) is a second-year player who spent four weeks of the 2014 season on Denver's active roster. He was signed as an undrafted free agent from Colorado State University. In seven preseason games for the Broncos during the last two years, Bibbs has totaled 111 rushing yards and three touchdowns on 25 carries (4.4. avg.).
Bibbs did not appear in a regular season game during his four-game stint on the active roster last year, but it appears that is about to change.
Thanking the lord everyday for his blessings nfl debut tomorrow

Bibbs broke CSU's single-season record for rushing yards (1,741), touchdowns (31) and points (186) in his lone season with the Rams in 2013. This will be his first meaningful game action since. It'll be exciting to see what he can do.
Bibbs will wear No. 35 for the Broncos.
Meanwhile, tight end Richard Gordon was just signed by the Broncos this week. It's a cruel world at the bottom of an NFL roster.
