MHR Review: Preview Elevated Stats History 5 Questions Ultimate Fan TV Map Inactives

The Denver Broncos cannot seem to shake their offensive struggles after laying yet another egg last week, earning them the dubious distinction of having not one, but two wins this season without scoring a single offensive touchdown.

At some point, this is going to catch up to the Broncos in a bad way. The string of so-called 'cup cakes' ends after the Bye week, so if this Broncos offense is going to show any signs of life before then it needs to be against these Cleveland Browns. My inner homer wants to say this will happen, but if they couldn't get it done against the Oakland Raiders 31st ranked pass defense, then I just don't think they can get it done.

The problem isn't Peyton Manning either, it's the anemic running game. It seems both the running backs are not hitting the proper cut back lanes and the offensive line simply isn't opening up enough holes anyway. Fans are freaking out over Manning's apparent diminished physical abilities, but he's actually been rather serviceable over the last three weeks. However, this team can't win offensively without a running game. It really is that simple now. This is John Elway circa 1998. He was good enough when he needed to be, but that team was all about running the football.

The Browns have the 31st ranked run defense, but like last week, I think they just can't figure out how to keep from beating themselves. Somehow the Broncos defense will find a way to seal victory again for the sixth week in a row.

Prediction: Broncos 16, Browns 13.
