After a rough 7-7 outing last week, I figure I might be due for a nice turnaround this week. Of course, I went against my gut on Thursday and am already 0-1 for Week 6. Oh well. Since the Broncos played early games, I didn't give my picks in that post. I'll give them here.
For this afternoon, I think one or both undefeated teams could fall. Somehow, the Seattle Seahawks won't choke this week and will beat the undefeated Carolina Panthers. Meanwhile, the Green Bay Packers should win at home against the San Diego Chargers, but the Chargers are always a dangerous road underdog.
The toss-up game for me is between the woeful Baltimore Ravens and equally woeful San Francisco 49ers. I'm going Ravens, because though Colin Kaepernick finally had a good game last week, I'm not a believer. The Ravens are the better football team and should beat the 49ers this week. The caveat is, one should never count on a bad team being good.
