Broncos vs Browns first quarter highlights

The Broncos lead 3-0 over the Browns.

James Lang-USA TODAY Sports

An early Peyton Manning interception nearly led to points for the Cleveland Browns, but the Denver Broncos defense held strong on a fourth down to get the ball back.

From there, Manning engineered a quality drive that included a fourth down conversion. However, a fantastic Manning audible led to a terrible read by C.J. Anderson that should have been almost a touchdown had he hit the hole instead of an offensive lineman. The field goal put the Broncos up 3-0.

Malik Jackson closed out the first quarter with a 15 yard facemask penalty to extend a Browns drive. Not smart.
