Here are three of former Buff and Bronco Mike Pritchard's takeaways following Denver's Week 6 win.
Manning can take the Game Manager role
"Peyton Manning doesn't have to do too much anymore. He doesn't have to be the invincible quarterback that led him to a Hall of Fame career. He has so many playmakers around him. Manage the game, but don't mess it up by trying to do too much. And when your head coach is at the podium saying the exact same thing, then I don't know what else to tell (fans)."
Shaquil Barrett's success is no surprise
"It's not tough. I just love the Broncos' culture. I'll remind you about Rod Smith... it's the culture that exists with the Broncos."
Should the Broncos trade for a tight end?
"If we can have a pass-catching tight end that's also great at blocking, then that's going to help our offense as well. You think about how many times you want to run play action but you can't do it because there's no threat of the run. And a lot of times the tight end really is involved in play-action offense. So the Broncos, if they look at themselves, if they're self-scouting right now, then yeah, maybe upgrading or getting an able body at that position would help out the offense."
