The bye week has done good, as the Denver Broncos appear to be refueled entering Week 8 and their Sunday Night Football matchup with the Green Bay Packers.
Linebacker DeMarcus Ware, wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders, running back Juwan Thompson, and linebacker Corey Nelson each practiced Monday, with the only player missing the session being rookie linebacker Shane Ray, according to multiple reports. Ware and Thompson missed Week 6 with respective back and hamstring injuries; both Sanders and Nelson left Week 6 against the Browns with shoulder and knee/ankle injuries respectively.
Ware and Sanders could be considered the defensive and offensive MVPs for the Broncos this season, so it's big news that they both practiced Monday. NFL teams don't release practice participation reports for Monday workouts, though, so we'll be following their participation levels throughout the week per usual.
The hope is that these players - particularly Ware and Sanders - will be good to go for the Broncos against the Packers given the week off. Both the Broncos and Packers are 6-0 entering their Sunday Night Football game - a historic matchup for a couple of reasons.
