The Carolina Panthers come into this game red hot with a defense that is definitely one of the best in the league and an offense that gets just enough done each week to ensure victory. Cam Newton is taking care of the football and coming up big for the Panthers when they need him the most.
Meanwhile, the Indianapolis Colts have not beaten a single team outside of the woeful AFC South and Andrew Luck is most definitely not coming up big when the Colts need him the most. With the Denver Broncos coming to town next week, the Colts could be staring at a 3-6 record seven days from now. And yet, they could still be in first place of their division. Go figure.
From what I have seen from the Panthers so far, they seem to enjoy the bright lights of prime time football and I really don't like the Colts in this spot. They do have Luck, however, so you really never know when he might just go crazy and put the Colts on his shoulders to lead them to victory. I just don't think that will happen tonight.
Prediction: Panthers 27, Colts 16
What is your prediction, Broncos Country?
