The Broncos will rest Emmanuel Sanders vs. the Bears. Cody Latimer time, anybody?
After watching him in warmups, Broncos made decision to sit Emmanuel Sanders. Sanders out vs Bears, per team official.— Adam Schefter (@AdamSchefter) November 22, 2015
Our original post follows below.
Running a bit late this morning on the Horse Tracks, so I apologize for that. In any case, I did wake up to the news that Emmanuel Sanders is a go for today's matchup, while Alshon Jeffery is not a go and will miss today's game between the Denver Broncos and Chicago Bears.
Whether or not Sanders is going to be an impact is another question. He came back too soon last week and was more of a liability than the impact player he normally is. The word on the field is that he definitely doesn't look comfortable out there. If that's the case, the guy just needs to rest another week.
Just an eye test and don't know what medical staff will decide, but it's cold and Emmanuel Sanders didn't look comfortable running routes.— Jeff Legwold (@Jeff_Legwold) November 22, 2015
Jeffery's absence on the other hand is a bigger deal as the Bears are facing a pass defense that has proven it can smother lesser talent all day long.
Despite being listed as questionable with groin/shoulder injuries, Bears WR Alshon Jeffery not expected to play today vs Denver, per source.— Adam Schefter (@AdamSchefter) November 22, 2015
