Here are the inactives for this afternoon's game between the Denver Broncos and the Chicago Bears at Solider Field in cold and windy Chicago.
Like last week, all eyes will be on Broncos wide receiver Emmanuel Sander's health. He was able to play through some nagging injuries last week, but that will not be the case this weekend.
After watching him in warmups, Broncos made decision to sit Emmanuel Sanders. Sanders out vs Bears, per team official.— Adam Schefter (@AdamSchefter) November 22, 2015
Sanders worked out prior to today's game and just didn't look comfortable according to onlookers. So hopefully this rest will give the banged up wide receiver plenty of time to get healthy for New England.
This also means that Brock Osweiler will be without one of his top targets for his first career start. I'd expect to see Cody Latimer step up in a big way today. He and Osweiler are on the same page together, and I expect both to have breakout games today. Also look for Bennie Fowler, Jordan Norwood, and Andre Caldwell to see some playing time as well.
Also inactive for the Broncos(as we all know) are two future Hall Of Famers, quarterback Peyton Manning and linebacker DeMarcus Ware. Neither player traveled with the team to Chicago.
Manning is dealing with a long list of injuries and is sitting out today's game(at least) because of them. Brock Osweiler is making his first-career start in his place, and rookie Trevor Siemian is active for the first time in his career.
Ware has been dealing with back spasms for the last month or so, and again will sit out today's game. Linebackers Shaquil Barrett and rookie Shane Ray will continue to play in his place.
Also inactive for the Broncos is defensive end Vance Walker. He missed practice all week and was listed as questionable. Look for rookie Darius Kilgo to get reps in his place.
The rest of the inactives are rookie cornerback Lorenzo Doss, recently acquired offensive lineman Sam Brenner, and tight end Richard Gordon.
