Pro Bowl 2016: 10 Broncos players among fan vote leaders

Denver's defense should be represented well in the Pro Bowl.

Kyle Terada-USA TODAY Sports

If fan voting for the 2016 Pro Bowl ended today, four Denver Broncos would be headed to Hawaii. Fan voting doesn't end until December 15—go vote!—and players and coaches will account for the final two thirds of the vote, so Denver's likely to have more than four players represented.

As of today, ten Broncos rank among the top ten vote-getters at their positions. See the full list below, courtesy of the NFL:

Notably, Thomas has been added to the list after not ranking among the top ten receivers last month. Guard Evan Mathis has fallen out of the top ten, as has Juwan Thompson (who's listed as a fullback).

Peyton Manning has received the tenth-most votes among QBs, despite the fact that he hasn't played since Week 10 and is expected to miss at least two more weeks with a foot injury. With six QBs dressing for the All-Star game, Manning could feasibly make the cut as an alternate, if he's healthy enough to play.

The Pro Bowl will be played one week before Super Bowl 50 on Sunday, January 31. Jerry Rice and Michael Irvin will serve as team captains for the unconferenced All-Star game.

Denver had eleven Pro Bowlers in 2014.
