3rd NFC North | Packers Favored | 1st NFC North |
The Green Bay Packers got back to their winning ways with a huge division road win over the Minnesota Vikings to retake first place in the NFC North. It helped that Aaron Rodgers would once again rely on Eddie Lacy to tote the rock, which I am sure the Packers will look to continue in this game against the Chicago Bears. Vegas is back on the Packers train after their big win and I'm leaning towards agreeing with them in this spot.
Jay Cutler goes get Matt Forte back in the lineup, but that might be a bad thing. It certainly appeared as though the Bears were finally getting into an offensive groove with Jeremy Langford in the lineup and Forte's return could upset the groove. Their offensive line will likely not get away with all of the holding they did last week against the Denver Broncos, so I expect the Bears to struggle offensively.
The Packers defense is going to have a good game and their offense as well. This was the one game today where I feel like it could get ugly for one team in a big hurry.
Thanksgiving Day is going to end with a blowout win for the Packers. And it sure would have been nice to watch an AFC game on today, but oh well.
Prediction: Packers 34, Bears 13
What is your prediction, Broncos Country?
