Linebacker | DeMarcus Ware |
Wide receiver | Jordan Norwood |
Offensive Line | Sam Brenner |
Quarterback | Christian Ponder |
Tight End | Richard Gordon |
Quarterback | Peyton Manning |
Cornerback | Lorenzo Doss |
Thoughts:
Veteran offensive guard Evan Mathis is active for tonight's game after working out prior to the game. He was listed as questionable, and considered a game-time decision, but will be out there protecting Osweiler. I'd look to see rookie max Garcia to continue to spell Mathis at times during the game.
After being inactive for last weekend's game, wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders is active for tonight's game against the New England Patriots. This will be the first time that Brock Osweiler will have Sanders and Demaryius Thomas on the field together.
Veteran linebacker DeMarcus Ware is again inactive. He is still nursing his back injury. Look for linebackers Shaquil Barrett and rookie Shane Ray to replace Ware in the lineup.
As we all know, quarterback Peyton Manning is among the Broncos inactives again. It's likely he will be on this list for at least the new few weeks. Rookie Trevor Siemian will be the backup for Brock Osweiler again this weekend. Newly acquired quarterback Christian Ponder is also inactive.
The rest of the inactive list is rookie cornerback Lorenzo Doss, tight end Richard Gordon, and offensive lineman Sam Brenner.
