This game has me wondering how this team responds to big wins. A team not ready for the big time would lay an egg a week after completely dominating a great team like the Green Bay Packers, but both my heart and my mind thinks there is something a bit different about this years' Denver Broncos.
The Indianapolis Colts are in completely turmoil, with firings within the coaching staff last week and the Colts ownership and general manager appears to be complete power hungry maniacs with no clue what they are doing. It certainly feels like this organization is on the verge of implosion, but that could also serve as a galvanizing force within the locker room. And unfortunately, we won't find out until about three hours from the publishing of this post.
That said, my thoughts keep coming back to Peyton Manning and his love of NFL history. He has two very important quarterback records within reach and he is playing in front of the crowd that cheered for him most of his career. You have to believe he's going to have a huge game today. I think he does and though Andrew Luck and the Colts score the most points on this Broncos defense all year, the Broncos still win by two touchdowns.
Prediction: Broncos 36, Colts 23
