The Denver Broncos received some good news on the injury front today. Tight end Vernon Davis was cleared to return to practice after being put in the league's concussion protocol.
That was about all the good news the Broncos received on the injury front today.
Running backs C.J. Anderson(ankle) and Ronnie Hillman(foot) did not practice for a second straight day
Kubiak expects CJ Anderson and Ronnie Hillman to go full tomorrow. Said there's a chance Juwan Thompson could start.

Head Coach Gary Kubiak did say that he expects both players to put in a full practice on Friday. Depending how the two backs look tomorrow, Kubiak said there's a chance that third string running back Juwan Thompson could get the start at running back.
Kubiak did say that he expects both players to play on Sunday.
"Yeah, my expectations are they will. I think they’re both making up ground. We picked up the tempo a little bit today from yesterday, but we’re trying to get those guys to Friday right now."
Joining the injury report was rookie linebacker, Shane Ray. He was sick today and probably will be back tomorrow and most likely good for Sunday's game.
"He was just really sick this morning, so we sent him to the doctor. From the doctor, they sent him home. I don’t know, there was something going on with his throat."
One player to watch tomorrow is starting linebacker Danny Trevathan. He was put in the league's concussion protocol as well but has yet to be cleared. If he's not cleared by Friday or Saturday, look for Todd Davis or Corey Nelson to get the start opposite of linebacker Brandon Marshall.
"Danny is doing well. I don’t know those stages. I know that practice is one stage. That would be him trying to come back and practice tomorrow if he’s cleared to do that and then the game is the next stage. Vernon would be a step ahead right now."
Starting nose tackle Sylvester Williams continued his progress from an ankle injury he suffered against the New England Patriots, and Kubiak said that expects Williams to be ready to go on Sunday.
Safeties David Bruton(Knee) and T.J. Ward(Ankle) both continued to miss practice. I'd expect to see Darian Stewart and Omar Bolden as your starting safeties on Sunday.
Kubiak said the injury report is "the longest list he's ever had."

Kubiak said this is the longest injury list he has ever had.
"No. That is the longest list that I’ve ever had, but I think some guys are pushing to get there, so I think tomorrow is a big indicator for us as a team. We’ve had good work. I think our work was good today. Obviously, we’re not in our pads and stuff like we are on Thursday, but our reps were good. I think we’re having a good week. We just have to see what takes place over the next 48 hours."
42% of the Broncos 53 man roster is listed on the injury report today.
For the Raiders, a bunch of their players returned to practice.
Star linebacker Khalil Mack put in a full practice and is expected to start and play on Sunday.
Also returning was starting center Rodney Hudson, safety Charles Woodson, and running back Taiwan Jones. All three players are expected to play.
One thing to watch is rookie wide receiver, Amari Cooper. The talented wideout was added to the injury report with a foot injury. He was limited, so I don't foresee this holding him out of Sunday's game. It will be something to keep an eye on though.
